Research Seminar: Brazil in the Global Nuclear Order, 1945-2018
On Monday, May 23, 2022, IESD welcomes Prof. Carlo Patti (Universidade Federal de Goias) for a conference on his most recent book “Brazil in the Global Nuclear Order”, published in 2021 by Johns Hopkins University Press. In this book, Prof. Patti analyzes the Brazilian nuclear program from its origins to the present day, highlighting its civilian and military motivations, the collaborations between Brazil, the United States, and European states, and the role of this South American country in the current nuclear order.
